FanDuel. It’s another game for the Knicks without Jalen Brunson, and another spot where I’m backing Mikal Bridges to clear his points line. Bridges has scored at least 19 points in five of the six games without Brunson this season, and has been very aggressive with 11 drives per game in those contests (he averages 5.6 over the course of of the season). The matchup tonight checks out, as the Spurs can’t defend anyone right now. Since the All Star Break, Santos Antonio has the worst defensive rating in the NBA.

Over the last 10 games, opposing guards are shooting 53% from the field vs the Spurs (highest in NBA) and accounting for 78.5 PPG. Yikes. With Jalen Brunson out, Bridges has found his form and we know Tibs rides his starters. Even if this gets out of hand it is a modest enough total. Bridges averaging 23 points over 37 mins in last 5 games and finding his game and his high-percentage shots (63.4% from field in that span). Are the Spurs even trying at this point?

It should be a great night for KAT to EAT like a BIG DOG. Spurs have no rim defenders and don't even really pretend to defend anymore. Knicks can still score without Brunson and will do so here. Spurs are allowing an unthinkable 128.9/G over the last 10 games and seem okay with that ugly tank job. They have allowed 125+ in 7 of their last 10 games. Teams are shooting 52.7% from the field against them in that span and they are also 28th defending the 3-ball. Have they no shame? No they don't have any shame.
