Tari Eason has scored at least 14 points in each of his last three games. In two of those games, he played 26 or fewer minutes off the bench. He started Thursday’s game against the Pelicans, scoring 20 points over 31 minutes. Fred VanVleet and Reed Sheppard have both been ruled out for Saturday, so Eason could play around 30 minutes again. That gives him a favorable opportunity to hit this over against a Pelicans team that has the second-worst defensive rating in the league.

Veteran guard CJ McCollum has a tough opponent for him today in the Houston Rockets. He’s averaged 14.7 points, including scoring just 13 in Thursday’s matchup against the Rockets. Tonight is a buy low spot for me on McCollum who has averaged just 15 points over his last seven games. He breaks out of his shooting slump tonight with a solid game against the Rockets.
