The last time Ja Morant faced the Knicks, he scored just 10 points over 27 minutes in a blowout loss in New York. Since then, Morant has scored at least 23 points in five of eight games. Part of the reason for his increased production is that he averaged 18.4 shot attempts and 6.6 free-throw attempts over those eight games. This should be a much closer contest in Memphis, so expect Morant to play more in this rematch.

The Grizz are giving me some pause lately but not nearly as much as the broken Knicks. In the last 10 games only PHX has worse D rating than NY. Knicks -5.7 net rating is 23rd in that span. Lack of depth and a banged up KAT is a big problem defending the goal. NY failed to cover 5 in a row and 1-7 ATS vs top 4 teams (crushed Memphis by 37, which may lead to revenge here). Grizz are 16-6-1 ATS vs. East and 16-9 as a home favorite. Even with recent slip ups, Memphis still 13-7 ATS in last 20 at home. Jalen Brunson being asked to do too much.
