Chalk it up to just one of those nights for the Magic when they were routed by the Heat on Tuesday. Another spot I believe the Oddsmakers are simply defaulting to Carter's averages. Carter is averaging 11.2 PPG, however that number is 14.9 over his last 12 games, which just happens to be nearly identical to his scoring average over the last two seasons. Carter is also playing close to 30 mins over this stretch as well. He gets a dream matchup against a Spurs team that is 25th in Defense, 5th in possessions per game, and have been getting completely torched by opposing Centers.
