Unless he is a crazy volume shooter he should go under. Minn front court plays great D and it’s a favorable matchup for us.
The Timberwolves and Knicks both rank inside the top-five in the league in defensive rating. The Knicks have used their defense to get off to an 8-5 start, while the Timberwolves are sitting atop the Western Conference at 9-3. The Timberwolves are a perfect 5-0 at home, which included impressive wins over the Nuggets and Celtics. As good as the Knicks have been, expect the Timberwolves to remain undefeated at home.
The Knicks are playing great but also in its fifth city since last Monday. The T-Pups are home for the first time in nearly two weeks and unbeaten SU & ATS there. I could see major foul trouble for Julius Randle and Mitchell Robinson against KAT and Rudy Gobert.
It's been an interesting season for Julius Randle who got off to one of the worst starts in NBA history over his first six games. Randle has turned things around but I think he has his work cut out of himself tonight. He's facing a Timberwolves defense that is arguably the best defense in the league (2nd in DEF Efficiency). Minnesota also plays slow ranking bottom 10 in pace of play. The T-Wolves have surrendered the fewest points to opposing frontcourts by a fairly significant margin as well. Look for Randle to struggle against a very tough interior defense.
