The Dallas Doncics, I mean Mavericks will be looking to keep their season alive when they host the Sacramento Kings tonight. Luka has carried the Mavs all season long and tonight should not be any different against a Sacramento squad that excel at facilitating potential ceiling games. The Kings rank in top ten in possessions per game and the bottom ten in Defensive Efficiency. It should not come at little surprise this game has the largest projected total on tonight's slate (242). Luka is scoring 32.8 PPG and considering we're getting this line at home, in a must win environment, versus an optimal opponent it certainly checks all the boxes. The Mavs are hanging on by a thread but Luka Doncic isn't going down without a fight. He quickly dismissed the idea of shutting down for the season when asked about it Tuesday night. Doncic is already averaging 32.8 ppg, and that's while averaging 36.5 minutes per game. We can expect him to play much more tonight. In games where he plays 40+ minutes, Doncic averages 36.7 ppg. Sacramento is a Top-10 team in pace and the total reflects that -- 241.5 is the highest on tonight's slate. So expect lots of scoring with Luka leading the way.
