Both teams are coming off losses to Utah, and both teams are looking to bounce back. The Celtics just haven't looked right as of late, losing 6 of their last 11. The Kings are 8-5 ATS as home dogs this season, give me the kings with the point at home against a struggling Celtics teams.
The Kings host the Celtics tonight and De'Aaron Fox should go for 30+ minutes in this one. Boston should be at full strength and looking to steal a dub on the road which should force the pace for Sacramento to keep firing shots...specifically Fox from behind the arc. He's averaging 3.4 threes made per game over his last five, including going 6-9 from three just last night. Expect 7-9 attempts at minimum (and maybe more if the Celtics go off tonight), all the data says Fox gets at least two to drop.
Al Horford has had at least three assist in all eight games in March, including 10 assists last game. The Kings just allowed Kelly Olynyk to record eight assists last night. Willing to lay the juice for this number.
Jayson Tatum burned us on his birthday but I am willing to give the Boston Celtic's star a second chance as the matchup is too good to pass up. The Sacramento King give up 23.46 points to small forwards this season (5th most in the league). To hear the rest of the matchup details watch Early Edge in 5 at 4pm ET.
Sacramento is playing the second of a back-to-back after losing at Utah on Monday without Kevin Huerter (15.0 ppg). He's iffy for this one. Sure, the Kings could win this game, but the Celtics have been off since their loss in Utah on Saturday and have no one of note on the injury report -- center Robert Williams will play after missing the past eight. Boston has the carrot of finishing with a winning road trip, and the C's might lose sight of the Bucks for the top seed in the East if they don't start playing better.
