This is a hefty number for Harden who has been red hot as of late for the Sixers, however this is a very difficult matchup on the road against a Miami team that is 4th in Defensive Efficiency. Both Miami and Philadelphia rank in the bottom five in possessions per game which is exactly the type of game environment I look for when fading a player. Miami also defends opposing Point Guards as well as any team in the NBA, they surrender the third fewest points to the position. Harden has also struggled against the Heat since departing the Rockets. He has faced the Heat ten times (including the playoffs) and is averaging 31.7 PRA and has only eclipsed this number one time.

I was thinking of playing Miami regardless but will go ahead and jump now with the Sixers' Joel Embiid downgraded to questionable. Certainly doesn't mean he will sit, but it's a bit unusual to get that tag this late in the day when the team didn't play the night before. The Heat just won in Philly on Monday with Embiid playing. The Sixers do play again Thursday in Dallas so maybe they do sit him tonight, although they should care more about winning against an Eastern Conference foe for tiebreaker reasons than against a West team like Dallas.

This is a great number for Bam who is averaging a combined 13.0 rebounds and assists this season. We're getting a pretty steep discount here because Adebayo has failed to eclipse this line in three consecutive games since returning from the All-Star break. I also think this line is slightly suppressed due to Kevin Love joining the Heat who does account for quite a few rebounds. However Love only plays around 20 minutes a night and the Heat love to stagger Bam's minutes and he gets a lot of run against the opposing team's second units. Ultimately I think this number is just too low to pass up as Bam looks to break out of his mini three game slump.
