Luka could get not just a double-double tonight but a triple-double because he's obviously awesome, but my logic is that the Spurs are horrific and this will be a blowout, leading Jason Kidd to yank Luka fairly early as Doncic is among the NBA's minutes leaders and now it's a sprint to the finish. Now that Kyrie Irving is around, that should also cut down on Doncic's minutes a bit because Kidd shouldn't be afraid of the team cratering when Doncic is off the court if Irving is on it. Luka has one DD in his past five games.

The rebuilding Spurs will once again be shorthanded. Romeo Langford and Devin Vassell are out, while Tre Jones is doubtful. Branham has scored at least 14 points in six of the last eight games while playing added minutes because of injuries on the team. He even averaged 18.1 points over that eight-game stretch. The Mavericks have allowed an average of 118.6 points over five games since they traded away two good defenders in Spencer Dinwiddie and Dorian Finney-Smith. Even if it’s a blowout, Branham should play enough to take advantage of a less formidable Mavericks’ defense.
