Can't believe my NBA bad luck of late -- no way the Thunder fail to cover +2 when up 1 one point with 0.2 seconds left but of course they lost by 4. Whatever. Like Mike said, Dallas played like garbage on Wednesday in Orlando as I'm sure the Mavs were overlooking the Magic. I don't think Dallas will sit anyone who is healthy just because it's a B2B. No Bradley Beal for Washington and now it's possible Kristaps Porzingis sits, too.

The Mavericks are coming off an embarrassing loss to a Magic team that was playing without star rookie Paolo Banchero (ankle). Luka Doncic shot just 9-for-29 from the field, failing to score at least 30 points in a game for the first time this season. Both teams will be missing a key player for this game, with Christian Wood (knee) out for the Mavericks and Bradley Beal (COVID-19 protocols) sidelined for the Wizards. The Mavericks have not lost consecutive games yet this season, and they should be highly motivated to bounce back with another win here after their clunker against the Magic. I’ll play it a bit cautious and take them on the moneyline, rather than to cover the spread.
