This line has moved a bit with Jusuf Nurkic (thigh) and Jerami Grant (ankle) being moved from probable to questionable. Damian Lillard (calf) and Anfernee Simons (foot) are still probable, so worst case scenario, the Trail Blazers should have their high-scoring starting backcourt. If Grant and/or Nurkic can play, this becomes a significant mismatch with LaMelo Ball (ankle) and Gordon Hayward (shoulder) out for the Hornets. I’m willing to take the risk.

The Hornets have lost five straight and just gave up 62 second-half points to a Wizards team missing Bradley Beal. They're 1-4 at home. Now they have to deal with a 7-3 Trail Blazers team that's expected to be at full strength. Charlotte won't have Gordon Hayward or LaMelo Ball to try to keep pace with Damian Lillard, Anfernee Simons and company. Portland has covered seven of the past 10 meetings and should improve to 9-2 ATS this season.
