Understanding Public and Money

Think of 'Public' as the percentage of people betting on each side and 'Money' as how much money is being bet. When there's a big difference between the 'Public' and 'Money' data, it usually means that the more serious bettors (referred to as 'Sharp Money') are favoring a particular side.

Matt's Analysis:

I can't guarantee you who wins this game, but I can guarantee that Bruce Brown will not be taking a last-second shot with the game on the line for the Nets again. James Harden remains out for Brooklyn. I understand why a lot of people are backing the Nets here after they played awful yet still nearly won Game 3. I just think the Bucks are due a good game from deep, where they have struggled mightily thus far. Not often you will get Giannis & Co. at a plus price at home.

Mike's Analysis:

Game 3 of this series was ugly. Both teams shot under 38 percent from the field, with the Bucks again struggling by shooting 19.4 percent from beyond the arc. The normally efficient Kevin Durant was just 11-for-28 from the field and Joe Harris was only 1-for-11. Still, the Nets only lost by three points. With better shooting performances, look for Brooklyn to bounce back with a win.
