Sacramento is 0-7 ATS in its last seven games playing on one day's rest, and 0-4 ATS in its past four meetings with Charlotte. Back the young Hornets to win their fourth straight, and cover.

So here is why I often use the moneyline for short NBA favorites. The Hornets were -4.5 last Thursday vs. Detroit. Two of my cohorts also picked Charlotte but ATS. I went with the ML. Two meaningless free throws by the Pistons' Jerami Grant with a second left made the final 105-102. Moneylines take garbage-time bad beats out of the equation.
