The Lakers don't have LeBron James tonight, which is why they're the dogs in this spot, but I still like them. Mostly because the Kings are awful and shouldn't be favored against anyone, even a LeBron-less Lakers. The Kings will be without Hassan Whiteside and Tyrese Haliburton themselves, and could be without both Buddy Hield and Jabari Parker too.

The Kings are terrible, but they are well-rested and will face a Lakers team playing the second of a back-to-back and without LeBron James -- the King will miss his first game of the season. Of course, Anthony Davis remains out and Kyle Kuzma missed Tuesday's game with a minor injury and is in question here. I've gone into an NBA betting funk ever since the Kings GAGGED away a sure win Sunday at home vs. Charlotte. If they can't win this one, even without Tyrese Haliburton, I'm done with them for good. I don't trust the Kings to cover the 4 points, though.
