This was going to be my sporting highlight of the week, but, alas, no Kevin Durant or Anthony Davis. That's a slight advantage to the Lakers, who are 5-1 without AD this season. Brooklyn still will score plenty with Kyrie Irving and James Harden, but the Nets simply don't play defense (No. 28) and the Lakers (No. 2) do. That and L.A.'s superior depth will be the difference.

The Nets are on a 22-4 run to the Over, and Kyrie Irving is expected back tonight. While the Lakers have been a lock-down defensive team on the road, they're 8-5 to the Over at home. Look for Brooklyn's pace to carry the day as the Over cashes yet again for the Nets.
