My cohort Mike Barner picked the Bulls here, and I totally get it. Hard to beat/lose to the same team twice in 24 hours after the Magic won 123-119 on Friday. However, Chicago will be without three starters in Lauri Markkanen (hurt Friday, listed doubtful), Otto Porter and Wendell Carter (both missed Friday and out long term). Back-to-back nights in an Orlando hotel without being able to go anywhere? Hmm. The Bulls are 1-6 ATS in their last seven games as a road favorites.
These two teams just played Friday in what was a four-point win for the Magic. The Bulls lost Lauri Markkanen to a shoulder injury during the contest, and he won’t be able to take the floor Saturday. The Bulls did make a run in fourth quarter after being down double digits, even tying the score at one point. The Magic received a whopping 43 points from Nikola Vucevic and still barely hung on for the win. Look for the Bulls to bounce back with a win here.
