Here's the thing you have to understand about the Hornets. They aren't awful. Now, don't get me wrong, they aren't all that good, either, but they don't deserve to be this considerable an underdog against the Sixers. The Hornets aren't great offensively, ranking 22 in the league in efficiency, but Philly hasn't lit the world on fire, either, as it's 17th. Where the Hornets might surprise you is on the defensive end, where they rank 15th in efficiency. Also, these two just played a couple of days ago. While the Sixers won that game by 15, I'm of the opinion that the familiarity will lead to a closer affair tonight.

Hornets vs. 76ers appears to offer a significant model edge on the Under at the current price of 221.5 total points. This is a rematch from Saturday night when the game went way over the total, but my simulations still have this game at just 211.6 points.

The 76ers and Hornets are strong defensive teams who went off for 239 combined points Saturday, Philly winning 127-112. The 76ers aren't likely to shoot 59.5 percent overall again, or nail 16 3-pointers. Saturday was the first time all season a 76ers' game went Over. Look for these teams to revert to form Monday, and go Under.
