The Tigers hurler is in dominant form, with a 1.48 ERA over his last five starts. He’s cleared this strikeout line in five of his last six starts, and in 4/5 outings against teams in the bottom 10 of K% against lefties. The Orioles fit that bill, ranking 28th at 25.2% (the same number over the last 30 days as well). And against power pitchers, the Orioles run a 30% punchout rate. With a whopping six hitters in the lineup at 25% K% or worse against lefties, Skubal should feast. At plus to short odds, I love this spot.
