New York’s bats seemed to come alive during its four-game winning streak going into the All-star break. Roki Sasaki, who has an 8.61 ERA and an 8.14 FIP over his last five starts, takes the bump for Los Angeles, as the Yankees are poised to keep the bats rolling. However, the first game following the break, the Yankees have lost three of their last four. Still no Aaron Judge for New York as the Dodgers have the better team overall and the more complete lineup. Gerrit Cole has started to come into his own but New York is still missing a lot of offensive production in the middle of the lineup to start the second half.
The Yankees offense started to wake back up before the break and it spurred a four-game winning streak. They'll love seeing Roki Sasaki (8.61 ERA last five starts), who is prone to walks and home runs. I'm also expecting a big second half from Gerrit Cole.
