That includes a seven-inning, one-hit gem vs. the Yankees five days ago. Nats starter Andrew Alvarez has shown something, but he’s only going about four innings per outing and the bullpen behind him has been bad all year. As disappointing as Boston’s offense has been, it does have a .836 OPS vs. left-handers over the last two weeks.
