There are some 17.5 outs lines available on Jose Soriano so the market is thinking he's able to get through at least five innings tonight and pitch into the sixth inning with relative ease. My angle on the under here though is that I think Jose Soriano may be pitching hurt right now. His velocity is down from the start of the year, and his arm angle/release are up by a significant enough margin to start ringing alarms that his throwing sequence is off. Whether it be injury, fatigue or something else, the underlying numbers point to him literally being a different pitcher than earlier this year. His command has suffered and his strike rate has dropped, while the walks have risen, so 0.5u fade.

FanDuel (+108). As good as Jose Soriano was to start the season, he’s now under this line in nine of his last 12 outings. His struggles against lefties should be magnified against the Mariners tonight - Seattle should send out 6-7 lefties to face Soriano. The Angels righty is allowing a .256 xBA and 12.8% walk rate against southpaws (a .775 OPS versus .535 against righties). And after a red hot April, Soriano has pitched to a 5.33 ERA since May 1st. The Mariners bats seem to have woken up over the last few days, and at the least, they are a patient team at the plate.
