DraftKings. Tatsyua Imai has had quite the turbulent start to his major league career. His ERA is cringeworthy (8.31 and a 6.12 xERA) as is his 17% walk rate. However, his pure stuff is electric, with a 14.2% swinging strike rate (94th percentile). With a full week off since his last start (the rest he was accustomed to in Japan), I do like this matchup for Imai. The righty will face a Rangers lineup that’s sending out five righties - Imai’s better split - and as a team, the Rangers have the fourth highest called plus swinging strike rate.
