We've seen many teams let down briefly after wrapping up division titles, the hurdle in front of the Phils tonight after securing the NL East on Monday. While there's still the matter of chasing the Brewers for NL best record, a short pause after last night's celebrations would not surprise. Tuesday starter Christopher Sanchez has had a big year, but note he was banged around in an early-season matchup vs. LA, allowing four runs and six hits (including two homers) in just 5 2/3 IP on April 6. Meanwhile, the Dodgers have been encouraged by recent efforts on the mound from Shohei Ohtani, and have urgency attached tonight as they try to hold off the Padres in the West. Play Dodgers on Run Line

Caesar’s. Shohei Ohtani owns an absurd 33% strikeout rate this season. While his outings have varied by pitch count, he should once again be in line for about 85 pitches or five full innings tonight. He’ll face a tough Phillies lineup, but one that has been striking out at a higher clip of late (22% over the last two weeks against righties), and 27% against power pitchers all season.
Natural letdown spot for the Phillies after clinching the NL East with last night's comeback win. They still aim to finish with the best overall record, so I'm not saying fade Philly the rest of the way, but today seems a logical spot. Maybe a regular or two gets the game off. And the Phils did use all their high-leverage relievers Monday. Starting pitcher Cristopher Sanchez has been terrific in 2025 but the Dodgers hit him around back in April. L.A. can't let up as it's only two up on the Padres in the NL West.
