Another get-away day with the early start time in Sacramento. Previously, the A’s were hitting lefties very well but over the last two months they’re hitting .241 at home with a .717 OPS. Both games that Mason Barnett has started has gone over this total. However, this season, the A’s are 8-0-3 to the under in the closing game of a series when facing a lefty.

Boston has looked great its first two ever games in Sacramento (I'm assuming anyways) by outscoring the A's 13-0. But this is a natural trap spot at the end of a West Coast trip and with a mega-home series vs. the Yankees up next. It's only the third big-league start for rookie lefty Payton Tolle (0-1, 7.56). Usual starting 2B Remy Gonzalez (team-best .311 average and .507 SLG) is likely out at a minimum after leaving Tuesday's game. Purely a Boston fade as I don't much like A's rookie pitcher Mason Barnett (1-1, 9.00). Simply like the situation. And a decent price at +1.5.
