The LA Dodgers are coming off a shocking loss Monday to the Colorado Rockies. Sunday, we saw Mookie Betts hit the deciding solo shot home run in the bottom of the eighth to lead the Dodgers to victory over the Padres. Today he will see Austin Gomber who he has four hits against lifetime, with three of those being extra base hits. Take Betts total bases over tonight against the Rockies.

Mickey Moniak has raked at Coors this season, slashing .295/.344/.580 in 53 games compared to .215/.250/.416 in 48 games on the road. While he's cooled off a bit in August after crushing the ball in June and July, our model still likes the value here. Moniak has 18 HRs this season, 17 of which have come against right-handed pitchers. Emmet Sheehan has been vulnerable to left-handed hitters, who have a .785 OPS against him this season. With the game in Coors and the total at 12, we set Moniak's line to homer at around +385.

We were spot-on about the Dodgers being in a letdown spot Monday as they lost outright in Denver. Kinda doubt that happens again and whereas we didn't need +2.5 on Monday we probably need a chunk of this +3 tonight. But no doubt the Rox will be fired up for this series. LA starting pitcher Emmet Sheehan allowed five earned last time out in Anaheim and has proven very inconsistent. May as well bump this up a shade to +3.5. I certainly prefer +3 to Dodgers -1.5.
