Cleveland has improved with an 8-2 record in their last 10 games and has outscored opponents by 15 runs during that stretch. Monday was fun! So much more so when the teams that generally are supposed to win do, eh? It does really feel like we are getting back to that now ... definitely been noticing. And this is good for me. The Marlins have nicely overachieved overall, but it seems to be falling away having dropped three straight and six of eight. The Guardians, meanwhile, have gone streaking ("honey, you think KFC is still open?") right back into the WC hunt. Lefty Logan Allen has a 2.93 ERA at night, while Miami is 27th in the majors in OPS vs. southpaws and has a 14-17 record against them.
