The Royals are yet to make a serious AL wild card push, but they've bounced back quickly from defeat. KC has won immediately after six of its past seven losses, and is in recovery mode tonight at Target Field following a 9-4 loss to the Twins last night. Here's saying the Royals do some business vs. big Bailey Ober, whose return from the injured list last Saturday was more of the same in a loss to Cleveland, surrendering 4 runs across 5 IP. In Ober's last six starts, covering 35 IP, he's allowed a ghastly 16 homers as well. Edge on the mound would seem to the Royals' Noah Cameron, who recently posted a 1.84 ERA in July. The Kansas City Royals are on their third consecutive road series, and Saturday will look to bounce back against the Twins. With starting pitcher Noah Cameron on the mound the Royals have won four out of his last five outings. Additionally, he matched a season high eight strikeouts in his first matchup against the Twins this season. Back the Royals.

Caesar’s. Noah Cameron has cleared this strikeout line in seven of his last ten starts. He had flashed plus strikeout numbers at every level in the minors, and that’s starting to shine through at the major league level. He’s also been incredibly effective, pitching to a 2.68 ERA (3.13 xERA). I like him to at least see enough volume against a watered down Twins lineup to clear this line today.
