The Nationals bullpen has been absolutely taxed of late (no starter has finished even five innings over the last five games), and Parker might be in for a heavy workload no matter the result today. Parker is a pitch to contact hurler whose zone rate is in the 72nd percentile amongst qualifiers. The A’s have maintained a top zone swing rate all season, and have been hitting left handed pitching very well of late - their .291 average versus southpaws since July 1st leads all of baseball.
