I just went from not playing this game to a two-unit play. Why? At first, it was thought that Twins ace Joe Ryan was on the hill. That was a pass. But instead it will be reliever Pierson Ohl (0-2, 7.50), then Thomas Hatch (18.00 ERA) and Ryan apparently will not throw at all. That jumped this ML significantly up ... but also then popped a -1 into our system. Now I really like this thanks to the -1 option. Tigers starter Jack Flaherty has been better at home (4-2, 3.38 ERA) and has allowed just one ER over his past 12 innings overall.

DraftKings. Jack Flaherty has been excellent at home this season. Pitching to a 3.38 ERA at Comerica (3.44 xFIP), Flaherty has registered an impressive 32.4% K% in the friendly confines. He’s cleared this strikeout line in ten of his twelve home outings, and should be able to continue on that trend today. The Twins depleted lineup has been strikeout prone since the trade deadline.
