A top bat that has struggled post All Star break has been Seiya Suzuki. Eighth overall in home runs, he has not homered since July 18th. Today’s matchup is a great opportunity to break out in a big way against struggling Orioles starter Brandon Young. Suzuki has also drawn more walks in his last three games, then he did his prior fifteen games. Look for that patience to pay off today as he clears his total bases.

Today's Cubs loss was not just their worst of the season but one of the worst RS defeats I honestly can remember in a long time considering it was Ryno's day. Just absolutely crushing to blow a 3-run lead in the eighth. I'm full-on depressed as it also ruined one parlay. But I have faith they will bounce back on Sunday; they better or that's the type of L that can turn into a sizable losing streak just like that. About the only positive was the Chicago bullpen coming out in much better shape than Baltimore's. Sunday O's starter Brandon Young is 0-5 with a 6.63 ERA on the year. I expect this to rise a decent amount by first pitch.
