The New York Mets have dropped four games in a row. Their last victory actually came in Sunday Night baseball against the Giants, when Ronny Mauricio stepped up with two doubles and a home run. With the Mets having been off Thursday, Mauricio is fresh after pinch hitting yesterday. Take his total bases over today against the Giants.

Kai-Wei Teng has been impressive with the strikeouts at AAA and he should see a normal starter's workload here. A matchup with the Mets isn't going to be easy but they have four hitters at the bottom of their order with strikeout rates of at least 25%. Breaking balls haven't been a strength for those at the bottom of the order as well, and that's what Teng should be leaning into here. Half unit being he stunk in MLB action last try but it seems he's a much different / better arm now. I'm going to target those bottom four Mets hitters for plate appearance strikeouts as well.
Time for the Mets to end this nonsense, as after winning seven straight have now dropped four in a row after last night's 4-3 loss to the Giants. Remember, San Francisco had lost six straight before hitting Citi Field, and rode Robbie Ray as long as it could last night before regaining the edge in extra innings. Not sure it works today, however, as Taiwanese starter Kai-Wei Tang has just been recalled from AAA Sacramento and posted a 9.82 ERA in four outings with the big team late last season. Would rather take our chances with Mets, who have won the last seven starts made by Kodai Senga, who has a 1.77 ERA in eight home starts this season. Play Mets on Run Line
