Erick Fedde in having a strong season for the Cardinals, however I can make strong case he’s pitching above expectations. This is also a difficult matchup against a potent Cubs lineup, in addition to being a lofty number for Fedde.

The Cubs have lost 5 of 6 and are in need of a bounce back and I think that comes in the form of an Erick Fedde fade. Fedde hasn't been terrible lately, but he's allowing plenty of baserunners and the expected numbers aren't good. Matthew Boyd faces a Cardinals team that is solid at home, but he's the far better pitcher and he's got the better lineup behind him. Great bounce back spot for the Cubs and I expect them to get to Fedde enough to get a First Five win.
