I don't know how to explain what is happening to the Athletics right now, but they've lost nine straight and 20 of 21, and during the nine-game slide, they've been outscored 81 to 30. Meanwhile, the Twins are being the bullies and go for the four-game sweep today, where they outscored the A’s 26 to 8. The Twins have won nine of the last 10 against the A's. David Festa was scheduled to start Wednesday for AAA St. Paul, but he's been called up to replace Pablo Lopez's spot in the rotation. He goes up against Mitch Spence, who also makes his first start of the year, but in his last start, he allowed six runs to Seattle in September. Twins to win.

The Twins have been crushing the Athletics in this series -- I didn't even fade Zebby(!)/Stella(!) last night -- so this might look stupid. But great price and feels like a super-trappish spot for Minny at the end of its longest trip of the season. Most likely, Carlos Correa sits out after missing last night with back troubles. No reason to put him in there in a matinee ahead of a decently long flight home. I expect a few regulars to sit.
