Re: the Halos, this is what can happen to a team of free-swingers. For a week or so, several of them got hot at the same time (with eight straight wins a result), but it can turn around quickly, and since the Angels have few other ways to manufacture runs, the offense can also stall in a snap. Now a three-game skid, only three runs total, with types such as Janson Junk, Edward Cabrera, and Ryan Yarbrough tying them in knots. Carlos Rodon, off of two superb starts vs. the Rangers and Mets, can similarly fluster Halo hitters as the Yanks look to win their 8th in 9 games. Play Yankees on Run Line

A great price opened here for us on the 7th strikeout for Carlos Rodon on Caesars. Rodon is running a swinging strike rate above 12.5% and gets a matchup with the Angels who have not see many lefty starters this year. The Yankees left hander should be much stiffer competition than many of the southpaws LA has seen, and lefty Ryan Yarbrough struck out seven batters in six innings last night. Yarbrough has far less swing and miss in his game than Rodon does and we get the benefit of extreme pitcher's umpire Bill Miller behind the plate. Ladder at 8,9,10 K's on Fanduel!
Ty Anderson gets results but flirts with danger. Yankees have made major gains vs lefties this season, slugging nearly .500 and getting on base 34% of the time with a .811 OPS. Carlos Rodon looks like an ace again for them and the Angels have an unfathomable .433 OPS vs lefties at home (30th, duh!). They somehow have a .177 OBP vs lefties at home, nearly 100 points lower than any team. Have to fade them here. Yanks will get 9 cracks at their staff.
