After all, they're an MLB-best 33-18 this season, and Friday starter Jackson Jobe has been pretty reliable despite his rookie designation...we'll say, considering Detroit is a spotless 8-0 in Jobe's starts this season, which includes a 2.30 ERA at Comerica Park. Though Tanner Bibee was sharp last night on the mound for Cleveland, don't expect the same tonight from Slade Cecconi, who took a loss in his first Guardians start last week 9 vs. the Reds, and owns a 6.03 career ERA, mostly from the past couple of years with Arizona. Today lies the duping combination of their best overall record, and the fact that with starting pitcher Jackson Jobe on the mound the Tigers have won all eight of his outings. That streak ends today as the Guardians win consecutive games at Comerica Park.
