Miami's Cal Quantrill is a solid veteran who should be given every chance to earn a W as long as he's not getting rocked. Quantrill didn't make it five in his first start as the Mets hit him around, but he did come out for the fifth. He then threw five shutout innings last time out in Atlanta. The Nats aren't that great of a lineup and obviously no weather issues in Miami. The Fish used the pen a fair amount yesterday so could use some length out of Quantrill. Our model has him at 5.2 innings.

FanDuel. Mackenzie Gore has cleared this line in two of his three starts thus far. He now gets a Marlins squad that has the second highest called plus swinging strike rate, and the eleventh highest strikeout rate thus far. Gore should have no issues with this lineup, and I have him clearing this line by the end of the fifth inning.
