Kansas City’s lineup has yet to face Elvin Rodirguez in their careers. The Brewers are off to an 0-3 start on the year and only have one player who has faced Kris Bubic in their careers as well. Each is hitting below .227 to begin the season and the weather is cold with up to 15 MPH wind gusts.

Seems a little light on the Brewers in their home opener even as bad as they looked in being swept in New York to open the season. It should be a very emotional day in Milwaukee as the team takes the home diamond without Bob Uecker (so, so good) up in the booth for the first time in half-a-century-plus after the legend died in January. There will be several remembrances including Ueck’s signature across the outfield grass, a moment of silence and the Milwaukee debut of the Uecker jersey patch. I try and play a team in its home opener in any sport anyways if the matchup isn't lopsided toward the visitor, and KC doesn't fall into that category.
