Despite the Diamondbacks missing three of their top sluggers, Arizona keeps chugging along and are red hot. The D-Backs have been particularly tough on opposing southpaws this season and sport the 2nd highest OPS, in addition to wOBA versus lefties. This spells bad news for David Peterson who has pitched very well, although I would argue is pitching above his head. 6 IP has proven to be a tall order for any pitcher against this potent Arizona lineup.

I really like Ryne Nelson here. The D-backs have won eight of his last nine starts and he's posted a 2.84 ERA in that span. I'll trust them here at home even in a tough matchup against David Peterson. Plus, if it's close late, it looks like the Mets have an Edwin Diaz problem again.

David Peterson has quietly been one of the NL's most effective southpaws since his return from injury. He's 8-1 with a 2.85 ERA (2.70 on road) despite facing some legit lineups. Mets are 12-2 in his last 14 starts. Snakes middle-of-order injuries are kicking in. AZ just 22-24 vs lefties.
