The Tigers are running an opener out there against a potent Phillies lineup. That could be a problem, especially because I don't anticipate a lot of run support from an anemic Tabbies lineup. DET is 20th in MLB in OPS at home. I like Spencer Turnbull to shove against his former team here. He's in good form this season.

Only one of our books has 9.5 and I don't like this at 9. Both bullpens are pretty stocked after both starting pitchers went deep into Tuesday's game. It's former Tiger Spencer Turnbull for the Phils. He has a 1.67 ERA as a starter this year but had been booted from the rotation. This largely will depend on Detroit's Keider Montero, who allowed four runs over 4.1 innings in his MLB debut on May 29. I simply don't think he will be out there long in what should be essentially a bullpen day (he may follow an opener) and the Phils haven't seen him. A couple of Tigers regulars are out.

Before any Tigers fans want to get carried away with last night's 4-1 win over the Phils, remember it was Tarik Skubal on the mound, and there are no other Skubals in the Motown rotation. It was also still just Detroit's 6th win across its last 18 games on Tuesday. As of late last night, AJ Hinch also hadn't even decided upon a starter for the Wednesday rubber match, which comes with an added twist against former Tiger Spencer Turnbull, who earlier pitched for five seasons at Comerica Park.
