After they completed a bullpen game yesterday while using six pitchers, the Rays need some length here from Ryan Pepiot. Many of Tampa Bay's top relievers have thrown two of the last three days and this matchup looks solid for Pepiot, with the Giants ranking as a bottom five team vs right handed pitchers in many key offensive metrics. Pepiot's expected stats are solid as well, proving his success so far has been real.

We have been on the key piece in the Tyler Glasnow trade since his first start. The former Dodger knows this park well, the SF lineup leaves plenty to be desired and he showed his put-away stuff last time out in COL. The concern here is he racks up a pitch count with the Ks and gets a quick hook. But the Rays kind need this series and the pen ain't what it's been in the past and they need a lot out of this kid with so many arms injures. I don't think 5 2/3 is a crazy ask today
