He had a terrible spring with a 8.38 ERA in five starts with 30 hits in 19 innings, and 20 runs given up. He allowed three home runs. Solid price with Cleveland to win.

The Athletics scored the fewest runs in baseball last season. Their big offseason addition to their lineup was J.D. Davis, so expect them to be inept offensively again. They couldn’t get anything going against Shane Bieber on Thursday, losing 6-0 and collecting just four total hits in the game. Meanwhile, they will start Ross Stripling on Friday, who had a 5.36 ERA for the Giants last season. This is a great spot for the Guardians to begin the season 2-0.
