If you would have told me a year ago that I would be backing Patrick Corbin over Chris Sale, I'd have said go back to the Joshua Tree with your peyote and Aaron Rodgers. Yet here we are. Sale is still solid when healthy but he's probably a five-inning guy max. Corbin actually hasn't been terrible. Washington's OPS is way better against lefties than Boston's. No Justin Turner for the Sox and he kills lefties. Maybe Boston is looking ahead to facing the Yankees on Friday. HAHAHA. Plus, Tigers-Guardians may get rained out.

Normally I like to pick on Patrick Corbin but he has pitched well in his previous two starts and is putting together a solid season. Boston is middle of the pack against opposing southpaws. Corbin will be opposed by Chris Sale who surrendered only one hit in his first start after returning from a stint on the IL. I'll take a shot on then under.
