Nolan Arenado and Willson Contreras are out for the Cards against Arizona ace Zac Gallen, who is 9-0 with a 1.48 ERA at home. STL counterpart Jack Flaherty is capable of six shutout innings but has been very hit or miss this year and might be distracted with all the trade rumors around him. Flaherty's a goner no doubt (see news feed).

Zac Gallen has been lights out pitching at home this season where he sports a sterling 1.48 ERA and a flawless 9-0 record. Arizona finally snapped a five game losing skid yesterday and will look to maintain just a half game lead in the wild card in what is shaping up to be a very tight race. Jack Flaherty is on the mound fort Saint Louis and while he has been solid this season he did struggle in his previous two outings. I trust Zac Gallen at home and if the Diamondbacks can provide him with some run support I like our chances here.
