Chicago’s Lance Lynn has looked better of late, but still owns a 6.21 home ERA. Lynn has allowed seven walks in his last three starts. He’s also backed by one of the worst bullpens in the AL with a 5.03 ERA. Los Angeles is hitting .257 with a .721 OPS against righties on the road this season. Jamie Barria pitched well in his first start, five innings, two hits and zero earned runs against Boston. Barria has not allowed an earned run in his last 15.2 innings.
White Sox starter Lance Lynn has delivered three consecutive strong starts, but I'm not convinced his issues are fixed. Those outings came against Detroit, K.C. and Cleveland -- three of MLB's worst offenses. He has served up 12 homers this season and that should come into play against an Angels team that ranks eighth in MLB with 73 home runs. Jaime Barria (1.55 ERA, 0.93 WHIP) should get the Halos off to a strong start even if he doesn't go more than four or five innings.
