    Understanding Public and Money

Think of 'Public' as the percentage of people betting on each side and 'Money' as how much money is being bet. When there's a big difference between the 'Public' and 'Money' data, it usually means that the more serious bettors (referred to as 'Sharp Money') are favoring a particular side.

    Bob's Analysis:

Houston's Luis Garcia had a rough first start of the year, allowing seven hits and three earned run in five innings to the White Sox. Minnesota's Byron Buxton and Carols Correa are in the starting lineup. The Twins pitching has been excellent this season, a combined 1.74 ERA, first in the league. They also have allowed the fewest hits thus far, averaging 5.6 per game. The Astros have struggled, slightly, to begin the season due to injuries. Houston has also allowed 4.3 runs per game as compared to the Twins 1.9 runs. I'm on Minnesota.
