The Marlins are again super short-handed in the lineup due to injury and now are resting Jesus Sanchez (11 HR, 30 RBIs)? Huh. Jonathan India is back for the Reds and they are just different with him hitting leadoff.

The Marlins are ranked dead last in the league in wOBA against lefties in July, although the Reds aren’t much better at 4th worst. Nick Lodolo pitched well in his two games at home since returning from the IL. Trevor Rogers has seriously struggled all season but most importantly he hasn’t been able to get deep. The Reds are 10-9 in July and 8-6 at home while the Marlins are 11-10 in July but 8-3 on the road. They are missing many key players though now including Jon Berti, Jazz Chisholm Jr., Jorge Soler, Garrett Cooper, and Brian Anderson. Trevor Rogers seriously struggles against righties to a .290 batting average and 10 of his 11 home runs allowed, I like the Reds at home.
