The Marlins lineup is looking extremely thin as they are still missing multiple key players. They also send Trevor Rogers to the mound, and he has been completely hit or miss this season. David Peterson has been hit or miss himself, but the Marlins are by far the worst team in the league against lefties. The Marlins have also had the second worst bullpen in the league in the past 30 days. The Mets are starting all their regulars despite the day game. The Marlins are 14-21 on the road and the Mets are 23-10 at home, I like the Mets to win this home series despite the weird start time.

Not a lot to love today so we'll try this one and see how we fare off yet another cursed Sunday -- definitely done making MLB picks on Sundays for a while. I don't trust Mets lefty David Peterson all that much, but Marlins lefty Trevor Rogers has a 5.87 ERA overall and 8.03 in three June starts. Miami has an MLB-worst .205 batting average vs. left-handed pitchers this year, while the Mets are 5-0 in their past five at home vs. southpaws.
