Really had no interest here with the presumption that Carlos Correa was going to be activated off the injured list and that Byron Buxton would be in the lineup for the Twins, but neither of them are (Gio Urshela also sitting). Dylan Bundy comes off the COVID list to start on the mound, and he was killed in his final two starts before going on that -- remembering that he's Dylan Bundy, apparently. We'll take the A's runline at home (-158). James Kaprielian has been solid in his past two starts for Oakland and batters are hitting only .196 off him this year.

Oakland's scoring woes have continued. Over the last five games the A's have scored one run or fewer in four of them. This also has been a pattern in their games against the Twins this season. Minnesota has won all four games this season against Oakland, giving up an average of 1.25 runs a game. Despite Dylan Bundy’s recent struggles, I'm taking the Twins.
