We won on the streaking Padres on Monday because they have been hammering left-handed pitching. The Dodgers' Clayton Kershaw (8-3, 3.36) is not your ordinary southpaw, obviously, but San Diego is still good value on the runline at home. Friars southpaw Blake Snell (2-3, 5.72) has disappointed overall but has been solid in two starts vs. L.A. with a 3.48 ERA and excellent at Petco Park with a 1.65 ERA.

The Padres beat Clayton Kershaw earlier this season. While I don’t think highly of Blake Snell, I think I can get behind some runs being scored as the Padres ride a five-game win streak after a mini-slump. Kershaw has gone Over the total in nine of his last 11 games. The last four meetings have gone Over. Snell gave up seven runs in his last start at Colorado. Take the Over in this one.
