The Diamondbacks have lost a record-tying 22 straight road games. They’ve dropped 13 straight and are 3-30 in their last 33 away from home. The Giants go for a four-game sweep behind RHP Kevin Gausman, who would be a lock for the Cy Young Award for the first half if Jacob deGrom was in the American League. Gausman has allowed only six earned runs over his last 10 starts and none in four of his last five outings. This is out of my usual price range, but when a gazelle is wounded in the Serengeti, the lion always attacks. Take the Giants to win.

Gonna take a shot on the run line at even money. The Giants have outscored the Diamondbacks 27-17 in taking the first three games of this series, and today they face Zac Gallen coming off the injured list (elbow). He'll be on a short leash. Arizona has lost 22 straight road games. Seven different Giants have homered in this series. Look for Kevin Gausman to bounce back strong from his first loss.

This line has risen so much in the time that Ive done this writeup that the value is almost gone, but Im gonna stick with it. Kevin Gausman is 7-1 with a 1.43 ERA this season and he has only allowed more than two runs in a game once this season. Zac Gallen returns from the IL to make this start, but he was having command issues before he went on the IL. He has allowed at least two walks in all of his starts this season, and I don’t see that improving after coming off the IL. The Dbacks have lost 13 in a row and 22 in a row on the road. The Giants are 21-9 at home this season, lay the heavy price for the Giants to get the sweep.
